With the release of 16.7 (171029), we are finally addressing one of the top requested features in our UserVoice site - Mac users are getting the ability to send their emails and meetings to OneNote! The Send to OneNote button allows you to select any notebook/section across all your accounts, allowing you to archive and access your Outlook content where and when you want it. The new add-in will appear in the ribbon, grouped with the rest of the add-ins that you use today. With this new add-in rolling out, the existing functionality in Insider Fast, that this article talks about, will be replaced. Over this quarter, this add-in will roll out to customers in Production! This feature will allow you to send your mails and meetings to OneNote.

I'd like to ask if there is any solution for this, as it seems more people are experiencing this issue, and I feel that I can't make full use of the license I purchased (which was specifically for using One Note and OneDrive across devices). Even when attempting "Open with Desktop app" Note taking is slow, and it also doesn't allow writing equations as efficiently or editing the notes as well as the app. I can access One Note in a browser, but the lag from the browserĪnd the lack of functionality compared to the desktop app makes it unusable for my purposes.

I've tried using the advice that was posted on this forum in other questions, which included reinstalling the Office Apps, deleting the Library files (as advised), but that did not fix the issue. Upon starting the app, it crashes straight away, and shown the below: I use One Note every day for many hours for note taking and storing my notes on my classes, and after upgrading to a new machine, it simply does not work anymore.

I was using One Note for my university studies, but i purchased the license for my Microsoft Office through my previous employer benefits. I have recently upgraded from a Mac Pro Late 2013, where my Office apps were all working fine. I'm having issues with opening the One Note app on my new MacBook Air (M1 chip), Big Sur OS version 11.
